Dorothy Csonka

Dorothy Csonka 85 of Akron passed away October 23 2008. Born April 25 1923 Dorothy was a lifelong native of Akron and a graduate of Central High School. She received both a Bachelor and Master degree from the University of Akron and was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and Kappa Delta Pi Education Honorary. She taught at Mogadore High School until beginning her family in 1954. Dorothy was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank and her sons Richard and Michael. Dorothy is survived by her daughters Peggy Csonka of Atlanta GA Ginny (Bob) Durr of Cuyahoga Falls and Betsy (Rick) Woodley of Houston TX; sister Leola Painter of Akron; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren Funeral Services will be held at noon on Monday October 27 2008 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron. Entombment to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11-12 on Monday.
