Dorothee Sanders

Dorothee A. Sanders, 86, of Copley, Ohio passed away on January 15, 2019 in Copley, Ohio at Concordia after a long illness with Alzheimer's. Dorothee was born in Akron, Ohio to Susan and Alexander Saiben on April 23, 1932. She attended Butchel High School in Akron, Ohio. She married Richard F. Sanders on May 4, 1957. She was a member of Akron Women's City Club and in her younger years enjoyed modeling. Dorothee adored her extended family and together Dick and Dottie hosted many parties and celebrations throughout the years for friends and family. Dorothee was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert, sister, Rosemae and brother-in-law,Clinton Clark and niece, Trinkett Clark. Dorothee is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Richard (Dick) Sanders; brother, Gustav Saiben; sister-in-law, Ann Saiben. She is also survived by her 3 nephews, Mark (Patricia) Saiben, Gregory (Debra) Saiben, Clinton (Peggy) Saiben; niece, Wendy (Jody) Jennings and Nick Clark. She will also be greatly missed by her many great nieces and nephews and their families. The family of Dorothee would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Arlene Stinson for the many years of love and care provided to Dorothee and Dick. Our gratitude extended also to the staff of Concorida and Crossroads. Arrangement for celebration of Dorothee Sander's life will be with immediate family determined at a later date
