Doris Estead

Our angel on earth is now an angel in heaven! Mom passed away on April 19th at the age of 93. She was the Queen of all Mothers to her daughters Nancy and Tim Steingass, Sharon (deceased) and Mike Herrick and Sue and Doug Ott. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Kenny (deceased), a caring sister to Betty Chancey (deceased) and a loving aunt to Judy Glatther. She treasured her grandchildren, Chris and Ashley Ott, Danielle Ott and Forrest Lykins, Jennifer and Roberta Steingass and her great grandchildren, Layla, Wyatt and Jackson Ott, Tyler and Tara Black and Laureen and Alex Benit. She was a volunteer extraordinaire, a devout Catholic and her life was dedicated to her family and many many friends. She will always live on in our hearts and memories and is the second Queen of Heaven! Calling hours will be 4-7pm Thursday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio 44034. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Friday at Visitaiton of Mary Catholic Church(Annunciation) 55 Broad St. Akron, Ohio 44305. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Annunciation Catholic Church.
