Donna Miller

Donna Lynne Miller, born on June 17, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, passed away on January 19, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Having graduated with a degree in Medical Record Technology, Donna spent the last 48 years as a nursing home consultant. She adored her clients and the time spent teaching and training to State and Federal regulations. A long-time member of the Akron Women's City Club, she was also a member of the St. Hilary's knitting ministry and the LeBron James Grandmothers' Fan Club. She was so happy to see her beloved Cavs win a championship before she died. Donna treasured her children and grandchildren; and loved spending time with them and at their activities. She loved to cook, travel with friends, knit items for donation, and play Euchre. She was preceded in death by her parents Marguerite and William Mowrey and sister Karen Meredith. She is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years Dann Miller; her cherished children Kristen Halter (Tom) and Kevin Miller and four grandchildren: Josh and Ryan Halter, and Brooke and Dylan Miller, sister Judy Rossi (John) and many very close friends. Memorial service will be held at HUMMEL FUNERAL HOME, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, OH 44304 on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2:00 PM to reminisce about Donna's life.
