Donna Hoskins

Donna Jean Hoskins (Zavodney), lovingly known as Mama Hoskins, passed away on April 12th, 2023, at the age of 72. She was born on October 11th, 1950, to her parents Andy and Edna Zavodney, who loved her deeply.

Donna was a woman who lived life to the fullest. She was a dedicated stay-at-home mother who spent most of her time cooking delicious food for her family and friends.

Her cooking skills were unmatched, and she could turn any dish into a gourmet masterpiece. Her son Dale, daughter Dawn, and granddaughter Halley were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Aside from cooking, she also enjoyed watching good movies, playing bingo, and caring for animals. She always had a good sense of humor and knew how to make people laugh. Her infectious laugh and smile lit up every room she entered.

Donna was also a certified STNA nurse and loved helping people. She had a gentle touch and a compassionate heart that made her patients feel at ease.

She is survived by her son Dale and granddaughter Halley, as well as her brother Pat Zavodney and sister Sally Zavodney. Donna will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but they will always remember her love for life and her ability to bring joy to anyone she encountered.

Donna will be laid to rest at Foxfield Nature Preserve in Mount Eaton, Ohio, where she will be surrounded by the beauty of nature that she loves so much.

Rest in peace, Mama Hoskins. You will forever be in our hearts.
