Donna Fockler

Donna May Fockler, age 79, passed away November 27, 2021 after a hard fought battle with kidney disease. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 31, 1942 to the late Donald Joseph and Lillie May (Durkee) Jacobs.

Along with her parents, Donna was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Jacobs and James Jacobs.

Donna is survived by her children, Jill (Rodney Morris) Wagner, Jennifer (Daniel) Ritter, Joseph (Stacy) Fockler, Julie (Chris) Wogan; grandchildren, Jake, Raymond, Kolten and Lily; father of her children, Leonard Fockler; brothers, Thomas (Artella) Jacobs and Kenneth Jacobs; many close friends and extended family.

Donna graduated nurses training from Akron City Hospital. She was a registered nurse for over 30 years at Barberton Hospital. Donna was very devoted to her family and especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo and going to the casino. Donna was an avid fan of all the Cleveland sports teams.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Road, Copley.
