Donald Schorr

Donald Schorr 69 of Akron died April 23 2004. Don was preceded in death by his parents Marguerite and Raymond brothers Raymond and Kevin his daughter Theresa Stanley. He is survived by his wife Betty (Kraker); children Joe (Laura) Schorr John (Pam) Schorr Jerry (Jai) Schorr Chrissy (Herman) Allshouse Amy Gahres; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his brothers Tom and Marty and sister Posey. Don was a graduate of St. Vincent High School and Santa Monica City College. He retired as an executive chef at The Cornerstone Co. He volunteered at St. Edwards Retirement Community. He enjoyed sharing his interests with family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday April 26 2004 at 10:30 at St. Vincent Church Fr. Joseph Kraker officiating. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-6pm at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Vincent Church 164 W. Market St. Akron OH 44303.
