Donald Miller

Donald Roy Miller Cuyahoga Falls - Donald Roy Miller 82 passed away on December 14 2003 following a long illness. He was born in Johnstown PA and had resided in the Akron area since 1959. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Army Air Corps 48th Troop Carrier Squadron. Mr. Miller graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1950 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He was employed by Goodyear Aerospace Lear Siegler and retired from General Dynamics Corp. in 1986. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Norma Harshberger he is survived by his wife of 55 years Mary Ann; sister Elizabeth Miller and brother-in-law Roy Harshberger of Bedford PA; sister-in-law Fran Topper of Richmond VA; children Dan (Kathy)of Tallmadge; Dennis (Chris) of Uniontown; Barbara (Sandy Crowley) of Toronto Ont.; and Marian Brown (Roger) of Kingwood TX; grandchildren Jessica Erika (Jason) Andrea David Valerie Andrew Travis Ashley Jamie and numerous other relatives and friends. Calling hours Tuesday Dec. 16 from 6 to 9 PM at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. where services will be held Wednesday Dec. 17 at 10 AM. Service will be conducted by Father John Zapp. Burial following at Western Reserve National Cemetery Rittman OH.
