Donald A. Hoover 83 passed September 29 2008. Don was a member of St. Bernard's Church the Knights of St. John and a U.S. Navy veteran. Don is survived by his children Bill (Pam) Hoover of Kent Oh. and Marcella (Jeff) Tanner of WV. grandchildren Lisa Daniel Becky Donovan & Christian; four great-grandchildren brothers Harold Robert & Mark Hoover; sisters Martha Schiltz Margaret Merrick Dorothy Dunlap Mary Maruca. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday October 1 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Bernard Church. Procession to form at church. Internment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Rittman OH. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m.
