Dolores "Dee" Harrington

It is with profound sadness that the family of Dolores J. Harrington announces her peaceful passing on November 22, 2024 at the age of 89. She was surrounded by her loving family. Dee was born on January 16, 1935 and lived most of her life in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Dee loved to travel and listening to live music. She had an amazing sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. She retired from Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital (Western Reserve) after 36 years of service. She loved to volunteer and continued her volunteer services there after retiring. She was a life-long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society as well as being a Sacristan for years, along with volunteering at St. Joseph Parish School.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, father, and six siblings. She is survived by, and will be deeply missed by her children, John (Sherri) Harrington, Deb (Pete) Carroll, and Richard (Lisa) Harrington. Dee has six grandchildren, Holly, John Erik, Sean, Emily, Grace, and Meghan, as well as two great grandchildren, Austin and Millie. She was affectionately known as "Grandma Dee" to many friends and extended family.

A Mass of Christian Burial (Private) will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church 1761 2nd St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
