Diane Dort

Diane M. Dort, age 63, passed away on July 9, 2018. She was born on July 28, 1954 in Akron to the late Frank and Jean Dort. Diane was a 1972 graduate of Ellet High School. She was a nurse's aide for many years. Diane was a devout catholic and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed baking, sewing and researching at the library. She is survived by her siblings, Linda Dort, David (Patricia) Dort, Paul (Christine) Dort, Denise (David) Thomas, Mary (Jeff) Stimler, Carol (Daniel) Bradshaw and Steven Dort; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Thursday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E Exchange St Akron, Ohio 44304. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00am Friday St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St. Akron, Ohio 44301. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church.
