Don't cry for me Akron. I have gone to the love light and peace of everlasting learning that is my reward. Also, no stray animal ever came in to my yard without finding a loving, safe home, so I plan on working for St. Francis of Assisi, remembered as the patron saint of animals. Thank you to my parents Ted & Gert Dann for instilling a love of learning, teaching and travel. They gave me the confidence and resilience to keep moving forward with optimism. I was blessed to have my brother Ted as my best friend from an early age and continuing throughout my life. To my friends, family and children Dann & Adrienne Ashcraft, I pass on two pieces of wisdom: 'When people tell you who they are, believe them!'-Maya Angelou and 'Know when to walk away and live YOUR own best life. Seek your own happiness.'-D.D. To honor my 'eternal memory', float about in a boat, find the beauty both great and small all around you and be aware of the God Winks that occur everyday.
