Dennis McCoy

Dennis K. (Denny) McCoy, 61, passed away peacefully Monday June 1, 2015. Denny was born in Akron. He graduated from Kenmore High School and attended the University of Akron. Denny worked for many years as a self employed computer programer and web designer. He enjoyed playing the guitar, watching movies and preparing good food. Denny was a kind soul and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Denny way preceded in death by parents Calvin and Betty. He is survived by brother Ronald (Marilynn); sister Janet (Terry) Martin; nephews and nieces Justin (Nicole) and Keith Martin, Ryan, Melissa and Erica McCoy. The family will receive friends Thursday 11am to 1pm at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Rd., Copley, where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm. Interment Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, Ohio 44333.
