THE MAYOR OF COPLEY HAS LEFT THE TOWNSHIP! Our family sadly announces the passing of Dean Rininger on July 18, 2018. Although we are sad to see him go, we know that he rests in the arms of God and he will never feel pain again. Dad was all about family. He was married to JoAnne for 60 years. He was and always will be the father of Mark, Eric, and Lynn. He was the best grandpa that Jason, Kurt, Bill, Elise, and Ben could have ever asked for. Dad was a big man with a big heart that never met a stranger. Dean was preceded in death by his loving wife JoAnne. He is survived by his children Mark (Roberta) Rininger, Eric (Margaret) Rininger and Lynn (Will) Swigart. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jason (Jodie) Rininger, Kurt Rininger, Bill Rininger, Elise Rininger and Ben Rininger; great- granddaughters Anna and Emma Rininger and Laila Bennett; great grandson Kaden Bennett; niece Cheryl Elie as well as brothers Arland, Sheldon, Larry and sister Barbara (Joy) Godar. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks to our friends and extended family for being there in our time of need. We would also like to thank the staff of Copley Health Center for their warmth, compassion, and comfort. We are humbled by everyone's generosity, thoughtfulness, and especially their prayers. A celebration of Dad's life will be held on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Hummel Funeral Home in Copley. Calling hours will follow from 4:00-7:00 PM. Private interment will be held at a later date. Per Dad's request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Copley Historical Society. Dad also had requested casual dress at this celebration. GO INDIANS AND BUCKS! Dad, may God bless and keep you always and may your wishes all come true. Thank you for your love, guidance, devotion and ALL THE GREAT MEMORIES!
