Davyn Maddox Gerrets, age 7, of Copley, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of December 15th, 2021 at the Cleveland Clinic.

Davyn will be best remembered for his easy-going, good-natured personality, infectious laughter, and being a "shenaniganizer." Snuggles were his favorite thing in life. He was kind to everyone he met, and loved by all who knew him.

Davyn is survived by his "twinnie" Adelina, parents, Robert and Heather Gerrets, and siblings Kayla (24), Audrey (22), and Caden (12) He joins big sister Maya in Heaven.

The family wishes to thank the nurses of M50 and the outpatient clinic for their ongoing support and tender care they provided to Davyn throughout his lengthy illness, as well as doctors Rabi Hanna, Ilia Buhtoiarov, Blanca Gonzalez, and Frank Esper who, like Davyn, never gave up.

The funeral service will be held at Hummel Funeral Home in Copley, Ohio on Tuesday, December 21st at 4pm, followed by calling hours from 5-7pm. Masks will be required for entry. Burial will be a private event.
