David McCauslin

David W. McCauslin 52 of Hudson passed away peacefully on Friday July 22 2011. He was born August 12 1958 to Clarence and Gail McCauslin and grew up in Hudson. He graduated from Hudson High School in 1976 and earned his bachelor's degree at the Ohio State University. He met his wife Jill while living in Columbus. David and Jill later settled back in his hometown of Hudson. David worked at Roadway (Y.R.C.) for 17 years as a pricing manager. He spent his free time making furniture in his workshop and planting flowers in his garden. However David's true passion was spending time with his best friend and son Nicholas. David was preceded in death by his mother Alice Gail McCauslin. He is survived by his wife of 23 years Jill 16 year old son Nicholas father Clarence of Asheboro NC sister Donna Lewis nephew Christopher Lewis and niece Shannon Lewis all of Columbus and by his nephew Eric Hutchinson of Anaheim California. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday August 2 2011 at the Happy Days Lodge in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The address is 500 West Streetsboro Street (Rt. 303) Peninsula Ohio 44264. Calling hours will be between 3:00 and 6:00 followed by a memorial service at 6:00.
