David E. Clark, age 60 of Canton, passed away Tuesday January 22, 2019. David was born on March 23, 1958 to the late Fred and Margaret Clark. He was a 1976 graduate of Perry High School and went on to work at Carm's grocery. He later moved to Los Angeles in 1987 where he worked as a top salesman for Mission Beverage Company. He will always be remembered for his silly jokes, corny one liners, and his gregarious personality. He had a heart of gold, the ability to make anyone laugh, and would always go out of his way to help anyone in need. He never knew a stranger and always made friends everywhere he went. He was a handy thrift shopper, the type of person who could find treasure in anything. David had a passion for the outdoors, baseball, golfing, fishing, camping, puzzles and animals to name a few. To say that he will be missed is truly an understatement. David is survived by his daughters Brandy Smith, Jolynn Irwin, Taylor (Stephen) Conley, Cassidy Clark, brothers Bill Clark, George Clark, Fred Clark, and Glenn Clark, grandchildren Sierra (Ty) Brown, Hannah Irwin, Luke Smith, Addison Irwin, Lawson Irwin, and great grandson Rylan Brown. Family and friends are welcome to join for a celebration of life from 1 to 3 p.m. at Tim's Tavern in Canton on Saturday January 26.
