David Carpenter

David J. Carpenter 65 of Akron passed away August 26 2013. Dave was born in Akron to the late Ralph and Alma Carpenter. He was a graduate of Springfield High School U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 449. Dave is preceded in death by his parents brother William and stepdaughter Janet. He leaves behind his wife Donna of 33 years daughter Wendy (Adam) Miller son Adam stepson James Hassinger stepdaughter Denise Bruder grandson Elijah Miller grandson Anthony Genevose brother Merle (Pat) twin sister Donna (Frank) Rhodes brother Steve sister Martha Kerns and numerous nieces and nephews. Per Dave's request cremation has taken place. Private burial of ashes will take place at the convenience of the family.
