David Carlos

David L. Carlos, age 85 loving father and grandfather passed away at home March 22, 2018. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Eleanor Carlos, parents Mildred and Hillard Don Carlos and is survived by his daughter Carolyn Neidert, son David Carlos Jr., Daughter in-law Denise Carlos and grandchildren Michael Humston, Patrick Humston, David Carlos, Carter Carlos and Katherine Carlos. He was born April 21, 1932 in St. Louis, Mo. and moved to Akron OH with his family where he graduated from St Vincent High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star for meritorious service. David was employed with Parker Hannifin (Schrader Bellows) for over 40 years and worked in Sales and Sales management roles which took him to many parts of the world. Dave loved the outdoors and being with family. He enjoyed the number of years hosting friends and family down on the farm in southern Ohio. Calling hours will be held at St Victor Catholic Church at 3435 Everett Road, Richfield OH on Monday evening March 26th from 5 to 7 pm and Tuesday March 27th 9:30-10:30am. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:30am at St Victor Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association (ALZ.org).
