David Amodeo

David Lawrence Amodeo was born on July 21 1977 in Akron and passed away suddenly on November 17 2011. He was preceded in death by his father Vincent Anthony Amodeo and leaves behind his mother Karen Ballard Thomas his stepfather Dave his brother Anthony John Amodeo and his beloved extended family and friends. David attended St. Sebastian Parish School graduated from Firestone High School and Kent State University and had been pursuing graduate studies at the University of Akron. He was a successful fund-raiser and enjoyed helping with community service projects for the Barberton Jaycees and with several local political campaigns. All of us who loved David will remember him for his forthright and exuberant personality his love of conversation about current issues and the causes he believed in for making us laugh well and often and underneath all of this for his generous loyal and caring spirit in which he loved all of us very deeply. We will remember and treasure the moments which life gives us. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday November 23 2011 at St. Sebastian Church 476 Mull Ave Akron. Family will receive friends at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd COPLEY on Tuesday evening November 22 from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ray C.
