David Adelman

David Walter Adelman, 71, passed away Sunday, December 2nd , 2018. David was a whimsical dreamer, loved by all and will be dearly missed. His childlike demeanor and light-hearted humor live on in the hearts and words of all who knew him. David never met a stranger and would go out of his way to talk to anyone. No matter who. David was his sweetest and best around children. He lit up and could light up their faces with his voice and the silly conversations he would have with them. David will be missed by the many who were given the opportunity to be a part of his life. David is proceeded in death by daughter Alena Beth; brother Roddy Joe and parents Marcus Adelman and Joan Gerber. David is survived by daughter Anna (Rachel); Marcia and siblings Rick, Marilyn, Doris, Mark/Sonny (Ella), Theresa and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday, Dec. 7, 2018 from 4-6pm at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY, 3475 Copley Rd. where family and friends will tell Davey stories from 6-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House of Akron, 141 W State St. Akron, OH 44302 in memory of David Adelman.
