Daniel Williams

After a courageous fight with lung cancer Daniel Williams 72 passed away on December 15 2009. He retired from Goodyear Tire after 36 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents Reeves and Ruth and brothers Gerald and David. He is survived his loving wife Cecelia (Logan) of 50 years sisters Rita Williams Nancy Williams and Judy (Jim) Misock. Children Ted Williams of Ravenna OH Sherry (Larry) Parsons of Deltona FL Larry (Helen) Williams and sister-in-law Gail Williams; daughter-in-laws Janice Flynn and Samantha Becker. Grandchildren Jennifer Allen Shannon (Shade) Stevens Ted Williams II Trisha Williams Brandy Becker Brittany Becker and Beth Becker. Great Grandchildren Kaitlyn Allen Mathew Bender Ethan Bender and Shade Stevens III. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 19 2009 at 12 NOON at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
