VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE'' Dan Bocko 81 of Copley passed away on May 31 2005 at Akron General Medical Center after a short illness. Dan was born on March 15 1924 in Massillon and moved to New Mexico after serving in the Marine Corp. during WWII. He retired from Mountain Bell telephone company in 1980. Dan then returned home to Ohio in April 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Susan; sisters Ann Zimmer and Maria Bocko first wife Louise Bocko nee Carboni and second wife Wilma Bocko nee Spring. He is survived by his wife Alice Falb nee Beals daughter Susan (Louis) Spring of Albuquerque NM; granddaughters Michele (Kevin) Barry of Corona CA Melissa Spellman of Albuquerque NM; grandson Steve Cobb of Albuquerque NM; great-grandchildren Dylan Katie Hannah Megan and Leah; brothers John Bocko of Fairborne OH Milan (Laura) Chovan of Massillon OH Emil (Nancy) Chovan of Massillon OH Roy (Florence) Nussbaum of Goshen IN; sister Ruth (Delvin) Nussbaum of Kidron OH; numerous nieces and nephews; step-daughter Vicki (Lance) Wilkinson of Mogadore and their daughters Mindy and Deanne. Dan will be greatly missed by his family and friends especially the school friends with whom he reestablished contact when he returned home to Ohio. The family would like to thank AGMC Surgery Unit physicians nurses and staff for the loving care they gave Dan for the past six weeks. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday June 4 2005 at 12 PM at the Spidell Funeral Home 15900 East Main Street Mt. Eaton Oh 44659 with calling hours one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment in the Westlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Road COPLEY on Friday June 3 2005 from 4-6 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the Copley Fire and Rescue Unit or the charity of your choice.
