Dale Wiley

Dale Newton Wiley 83 passed away January 26 2010. Born in Granger Dale graduated from Granger High School in 1944. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II as a paratrooper with 11th Airborne. He then settled and lived in Copley township most of his life and was employed 37 years with Goodyear Aerospace Loral and Lockheed Martin. He was a member of Goodyear's Top Ten Group and the American Legion Post 473. He was preceded in death by his parent s Bonner and Mary Wiley and his sister Gwendolyn Walters. He is survived by his wife Alberta F. Wiley daughters Denise Longstreth and Brenda (Whit) Pauly eight grandchildren two great grandchildren and his brother Wilbur (Yvonne) Wiley. Dale's family wishes to extend a special thanks and their deepest gratitude to the staff at Copley Health Center for their special care and compassion towards Dale. A Funeral Service will take place at 9:30 AM on Saturday January 30 2010 at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. Interment will take place at Granger Fairview Cemetery with Rev. Becki Bowan-Verbridge officiating. Copley VFW Post 7971 and American Legion Post 473 will be assisting with military honors at the cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Copley Health Center 155 Heritage Woods Dr Copley OH 44321.
