Dale Edwards

Dale C. Edwards of Copley, Ohio, passed away on August 7, 2024. He was the son of the late Leslie D. and Doris (Helmick) Edwards.

Dale was preceded in death by his wife Susan "Sue" (Frank) Edwards. He is survived by daughters, Kathy Carr and Carolyn Landis and three grandchildren-Nadine Carr, Megan Landis, and Alexander Landis.

Dale grew up on the family farm in Norton, Ohio and was a 1956 graduate of Norton High School. He attended The Ohio State University and in 1961 graduated with a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering. He married his high school "sweetheart" Susan in 1959 while still in college.

On graduation, Dale accepted an offer of employment at E.I. DuPont de Nemours in Circleville, Ohio. He worked as a process and a project engineer in the "Mylar" plant and the "Kapton" -"Teflon" plant for 35 years retiring in 1996.

In 2003, Dale and his wife Susan moved back to Summit County to be closer to family.
