Constance Frease

Constance Elaine Frease (Wendt) passed away peacefully on Monday April 11 2011 after a long illness. Connie was born on July 23 1931 in Cleveland Heights to the late Walter and Stella Wendt. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harold (Hal) Frease son Kevin and sisters Phyllis Mazzota and Margaret Francis. Constance spent all her adult life in Akron OH and was a perennial volunteer with numerous organizations such as the Akron Junior League Summit County Children's Home Board Akron Children's Hospital Stan Hywet Hall Keep Akron Beautiful Woodland Methodist Church and New Covenant Church in Fairlawn. She had a passion for helping children overcome learning disibilities and worked in the Akron Public School district as a tutor for almost 30 years. Constance is survived by her daughter Kelley Bolas son-in-law David and granddaughters Kathryn and Mary-Margaret. Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 18 2011 11 AM at New Covenant Community Church 2095 W. Market St. Akron OH. Interment in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron on Sunday April 17 from 1-3 PM. In lieu of flowers please make a contribution in Connie's name to your favorite charity.
