Clyde Hughes

October 19, 1923 — December 12, 2003

Clyde Wilson Hughes 80 of Akron died peacefully at home Friday December 12 2003. He was the former business owner of Akron Inner-City Construction and a lifetime member of the Summit County Mounted Patrol. He served his country in WWII in the 710th Tank Battalion. He was a man who loved his community and will be surely missed by his community. He was preceded in death by daughter Linda L. Costigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Lois (Nee Seaver) beloved children Stephen and Patti Hughes of Boca Raton FL Nancy and Bill North of Gates Mills and son-in-law Bill Costigan Jr.; six grandchildren Bill Costigan III Andrew Costigan Lindsey Hughes Jessica Hughes Kristen North and Kaki North. Funeral services Tuesday December 16 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church 2726 W. Market St. Fairlawn OH. Interment of ashes in Greenlawn Memorial Park Pastor Jean Hansen officiating. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. on Monday from 3-7 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Cleveland Clinic Foundation UA10 9500 Euclid Ave. Cleveland OH 44195.
