VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE A lover of life the kindest of women Clara G. Franze age 71 passed on peacefully to her heavenly reward on June 15 2005 with her devoted family at her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Clara was born on January 23 1934 in Randolph Ohio. Our mom loved cross stitching and created many beautiful pieces of art which she shared with her children and friends. She also worked many challenging puzzles and mastered them all. She loved gardening and loved beautiful flowers most especially petunias. Her patio is called the Franze Arboretum and it brought her many hours of pleasure sitting outside with her husband plants and birds. Mom was an avid reader collector of Mickey Mouse memorabilia and an enthusiastic traveler. Clara loved people and people loved her. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved socializing with her friends at luncheons while wearing her beautiful red hat and purple skirt. She was a member of St. Sebastian Church Akron. Clara was a very spiritual woman and touched so many lives during her journey. Clara worked at Goodyear Aircraft for a couple of years after marrying her sweetheart Robert. She then devoted her time to raising her four daughters that she called her 'heartbeats.' After her children were raised she worked at P&S Ambulance Service for 15 years as a bookkeeper. Clara is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years Robert and her four beloved daughters Valerie (Jim) Deborah Laura (Joseph) and Linda (Joel). She was also blessed with six grandchildren she adored Jeffrey Jennifer Matthew Angela Jared and Danielle. She will be dearly missed by many family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Albert Horning and brother Marcus. We feel your angel dust Mom. We LOVE you always. You will be with us forever. The family would like to thank Hospice/Visiting Nurse Service for their gentle love they showed to Clara through her illness. A special thank you to Lori Mali for her kindness and compassion. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday June 17 2005 at 10:00 AM at St. Sebastian Church. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Thursday June 16 2005 from 5-8 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at St. Sebastian Church.
