Christian Wilmoth

Christian Erich Wilmoth passed from the earthly bounds into the arms of Jesus on April 29 2004 after a 3-year battle with cancer. Chris was born in Rottenburg Germany and immigrated to the USA in 1959. He became a naturalized citizen in 1973. Chris leaves to mourn his wife of 32 years Barbara (Wood) son Matthew (Tabitha) Wilmoth and there children Deigh Cosette and Peydon; and daughter Kay Wilmoth. Christian's parents are Eli and Katharina Wilmoth of Akron. His in-laws are Howard and Pauline Wood of Copley. Chris leaves to mourn borhter-in-law and wife Thomas and Linda Wood sister-in-law Linda Wilmoth and Robert Wilmoth. Chris worked at Diamond Crystal Salt/Cargill for nearly 30 years. He was on the Copley Fire Department for 8 years. He was also Boy Scout Leader of Troop 384 in Copley. The family would like to thank all the extended family employees truck drivers friends coworkers and neighbors who have been soo supportive during this difficult time. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 1 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Hummel Funeral Home Copley 3475 Copley Rd. Interment in the Copley Township Cemetery Robert Catteau Officiating. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. on Friday April 30 2004 from 4-8 PM. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hearts and Paws Animal Rescue and Adoption P.O..
