Chelsea Riley

December 18, 1989 - June 9, 2017 Creston, Ohio- Chelsea Shaye Riley , 27, passed away Friday, June 9th in a tragic accident. She was born on Dec. 18,1989 to parents Tonya Johnson Riley of Lodi, Ohio and Carl Riley of Vanceburg, Kentucky. After graduating high school, Chelsea went to culinary school in Hartford, Conneticut and graduated with a degree as a pastry chef. Chelsea enjoyed the outdoors, music, animals, spending time with family and friends, and was always ready for her next adventure. She will be remembered for her bright smile, upbeat attitude, love for life, family and friends.She could always light up a room and was known for her larger than life personality and her one of a kind laugh. She is survived by her parents Tonya Jonson Riley of Creston, Ohio and Carl Riley of Tollesburo, Kentucky; brother and his wife, Garth and Didi Johnson, brother, Ben Leeson and sister, Emmie Leeson; maternal grandparents, Karen and Harold Oney; several uncles, nieces and nephews whom she greatly loved. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carl and Ida Riley, and maternal grandfather, Charles Johnson A celebration of life will take place on July, 1st at 2:00pm at River Styx Park, Medina Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
