Cheda I. Heaton, age 50, passed away on April 3, 2025. She was born on July 13, 1974 in Cuyahoga Falls to Betty Dennison. Cheda grew up in Akron and was involved in Indian Maidens in Firestone Park. She was a 1992 graduate of Central Hower High School. Cheda graduated from the University of Akron, earning two degrees in transportation and social work.
Cheda loved giving back to the community, being involved with Relay for Life, the Haven of Rest and bake sales. She was independent, fun loving and loved to travel. Not having children of her own, she loved being around children and was the best Aunt. Cheda loved her animals, especially her beloved Yorkie, Minnie
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Dee and Irene King; uncles, Kenny, Jimmy and Gilbert King; aunts, Eulene Rogers and Jane Fetty, great nephew, D'Angelo Alcorn and cousins, Jimbo Norris and Melissa Shepherd; she is survived by her mother and best friend, Betty Dennison; brother, David (Monica) Moore; nieces and nephews, Darrell (ShawNee) Alcorn, David (Cam Shaw) Moore, Madison (Chavis) Montgomery and Davis Moore; great nieces and nephews, NeeShawn Alcorn, Camille Montgomery and Myles Montgomery; aunt Donna (Robert) Beagle. She is also survived by her life long friends, Monica Broadwater, Monica Carpenter, Amber Holcomb, April Linder, Diona Tomokins, Lynn Vinson and Tiffany Williams.
Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, July 13 at the Norton Community Center (4060 Columbia Woods Dr, Norton, OH 44203).
