Charlotte Reymann

Charlotte A. (Hummel) Reymann, 86, passed away on April 19, 2024. She was born June 27, 1937 in Akron, Ohio. Charlotte graduated from Georgetown University with a BSN and from Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary’s.  She worked as a nurse and teacher in Washington D.C., San Francisco, and Ohio. She was a loving and giving person, always looking out for those in need. 

She is survived by her children, Edwin F., Therese (Brian) Kerns, Michael (Diane), Charlotte M., Katherine (Marcel) van den Bogert, nine grandchildren, and siblings Frances (Patrick), Mary (Doug), cousins, relatives and beloved friends. Her family would like to thank the medical professionals who took care of her in her final years.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Edwin Reymann, son Christopher Reymann, grandson Michael Reymann, siblings Rich (Brenda), Tom, Annie (Johnny), and Julia. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately following. Friends and family may call on FRIDAY, MAY 3 FROM 6-8 P.M. AT HUMMEL FUNERAL HOME, 500 E. EXCHANGE ST., AKRON. Contributions may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary Church or Akron Canton Regional Food Bank.
