Charles Raymond Robinette born on September 30, 1930 passed away on November 1, 2017. Charlie loved and raised his family as a lifelong resident of Sharon Center. He attended and graduated from the Highland School System and served his country in the Air Force. While stationed in Europe he met and married Elaine, bringing her back to Sharon Township. Charlie enjoyed his friends and community. He provided community service through leadership in the Sharon Township Fire Deptartment, Boy Scouts, Historical Society, as Township Zoning Commissioner and restoration of the historic Town Hall. He contributed his time and carpentry skills to many charitable causes particularly those for the benefit of children. Charlie played golf and offered support, time and energy in providing for his son's homes and businesses. He worked for and retired from Ohio Bell/ ATT after thirty years. He genuinely enjoyed work and was valued by his employer. Preceded in death by his sister, Rosemarie Wilson; he is survived by his wife of 63 years, Elaine; sons, Kevin and Shawn (Rita); grandchildren, Nathan, Morgan, Riley, Emma and Rory; siblings, Robert, Earl 'Lanny', John 'Jack', Peggyjo and Stephen 'Jim' and many nieces and nephews. A service celebrating Charlie's life and relationships will be held at the Sharon Township Hall on Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sharon Township Fire Dept.
