Charles Leib

Charles F. Leib, age 84, passed away on January 19, 2016 after a long illness. He graduated from Buchtel High School and attended Kent State University. Chuck retired from Goldmark Plastics, Inc. After retirement he was a tour guide at Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens and served as an usher at St. Sebastian Church where he was a member of their Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Robert Joseph; sister, JoAnn Leib and son-in-law, Michael Cianchetti. Charles is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 62 years, Marjorie 'Jimmie'; his sons, Charles Jr. and Chris (Carrie); daughters, Teresa Cianchetti and Jenny (Chris) Minear; grandchildren, Andrew Cianchetti, Cate (Rick) Carreira, Olivia Leib, and Sarah and Abby Minear; brothers, James (MaryAnn) Leib, William (Tina) Leib and sister, Kay (Al) Campbell. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 11 AM at St. Sebastian Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. from 2-4 PM. A private interment will take place Tuesday at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Sebastian Foundation or Christ Child Society.
