Charles A. Kungle loving husband father grandfather uncle and friend passed away at the age of 83 after a courageous battle with cancer on November 2 2009. Chuck was born in Akron Ohio and resided in Fairlawn. He graduated from Kenmore High School and was a part of 'The Greatest Generation' where he served in the Company 'E'414th Infantry Division of the Army. He retired in 1996 from K&K Heating and Service Co. where he was owner for 38 years. Fondly known as 'Chucko' he was an avid golfer and member of Westfield CC where he recorded 3 holes-in-one. Many knew Chuck as a talented accordion player. He played as a child in the service with his own band and most recently at nursing homes. Preceded in death by son Gary parents Elizabeth and John brothers Bob and John. He is survived by wife Dorothy of 61 years daughters Shelley (Gregg) Inama Patricia (Peter) Wood and son Jeff (Penny) Kungle and grandchildren Ryan Inama and Brittany Kungle. He will be deeply missed for his loving ways Christian morals strong work ethic and willingness to help everyone. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Hilary Church on Friday November 6 2009 at 9:30 am. Friends may call the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Road Copley COPLEY on Thursday from 4-6.
