Cecil Kirkland

On Tuesday July 20 Cecil Kirkland 82 of Cuyahoga Falls passed from this world into his heavenly home. Cecil is a U.S. Army veteran and retired from Prospect Mold and Die. He will be dearly missed by his wife and family. He lived his life to honor and serve his Lord and was a man of integrity and kindness. We will miss his gentle presence. Cecil is survived by his wife of 61 years Delilah; sons David (Susan) Tom (Sharen) Roger (Bethany); his grandsons Eric Jamie Stephen Brad Cory and Tyler; his granddaughters Jessie and Delilah; and two sisters June (Stan) Hill and Yvonne Cestaro. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday July 27 2010 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 East Exchange Street Akron. Interment in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with Pastor John Hopson and Reverend Stan Hill officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6-8 PM.
