Cathrine Ruhlin

Cathrine M. Ruhlin 94 passed away on August 12 2005 at the Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Center. Cathrine was born in River Styx and lived in the Akron area until moving to Florida in 1976. She returned to Akron in 2001 and most recently resided at Sumner on Ridgewood. She was a graduate of the first class of St. Thomas Hospital School of Nursing where she worked for several years. She retired from BF Goodrich Infirmary in 1976. Cathrine was a longtime member of St. Paul Catholic Church and its Ladies Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe parents George and Anna brother Thomas and daughter-in-law Mary Ruhlin. She is survived by her sons Charles (Marge) Ruhlin of Wadsworth Tom Ruhlin of St. Petersburg FL and Jim Ruhlin of Akron family friend Jim Lewis of St. Petersburg FL 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Cathrine's family would like to thank the staff at both Hospice Care Center and Sumner on Ridgewood for their loving care. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church at a later date. No visitation. Interment of ashes in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice Care Center or Sumner on Ridgewood.
