Catherine Shaffer

August 11, 1922 — April 5, 2017

Catherine J. Shaffer, 94, passed away Wednesday April 5, 2017. She was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia on August 11, 1922 and was an area resident for many years. Catherine was preceded in death by husband James Shaffer and daughter Karen Thomas. She is survived by grandson David Nelson; good friends Luann Clifford and Robert Sanderfer. Graveside services will be held Saturday April 8, 2017, 1:00 pm at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 2580 Romig Rd., Akron, Ohio 44320.
