Catherine Reiter

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Catherine M. Reiter 86 passed away Monday April 18 2005 at the Village of St. Edwards. She was a life resident of the Akron area. Catherine was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy. She was a 64 year member of Annunciation Catholic Church. She was a long retired employee of the B. F. Goodrich Co. She is preceded in death by father Michael and mother Frances and brother John. Catherine is survived by her brother Michael (Maria) Reiter of Tallmadge nieces Maria (Robert) Sargent Anna Reiter Nephews Michael (Kimberly) Reiter John (Kimberly) Reiter and great nieces and nephews Heather Holly Lily and Ben Sargent and Jacob Reiter. Catherine is remembered as a kind and loving person of deep faith and commitment to her God. She had an abundant love for her family. She was a happy woman who loved to sing. The family wishes to offer their thanks to the staff of St. Edwards Nursing Home especially to the nurses and caregivers of the second floor which was 'home' of the past years. These are very very caring and special people a true gift from God. They will be in our thoughts and prayers. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday April 22 2005 at 10:30 am at Annunciation Catholic Church 87 Broad St. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. on Thursday from 4-8 pm. Memorials may be made to the Annunciation Catholic Church Choir Fund.
