Catherine Locke

June 27, 1916 — February 6, 2009

Catherine V. Locke passed away suddenly on February 6th 2009 at her home in Copley Ohio. She was 92. Born June 27 1916 in Connorton Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Patrick and Sara Monaghan. She was predeceased by her husband Stanley C. Lewkowicz M.D. of Nashua NH her brothers Edward and James and her sisters May and Alice. She is survived by her children Lee Mulvey (James) of Merrimack NH; Charles Locke M.D. of Ft. Pierce FL Susan Locke (Robert Kerper) of Bath Ohio; grandchildren Keith Mulvey (Jessica) Kristin Campbell (Rob) Kara Mulvey Rhiannon Locke Charles Locke Jr.; and great-grandchildren Meghan and Riley Mulvey and Cameron Lippie. She leaves behind her dearest sister Mrs. Eleanor Beyer of Warminster PA and her devoted nieces Eileen Waters (James); Kathy Walters (Les) and great-nieces and nephews James Waters (Caroline) Melissa Farrell (Donald) Patricia Gaffney (Robert) Jeff Walters (Samantha) great-grand nieces Brenna Aislinn and Rowan Farrell and great-grand nephews Sean and Connor Waters. A graduate of the Ashland Hospital School of Nursing she was a registered nurse working at Pennsylvania Manufacturer's Association in Philadelphia PA for 20 years until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church in Copley and a former parishioner at Nativity of Our Lord in Warminster PA. Cremation has taken place. Interment in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Philadelphia PA. A Memorial Mass will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Catherine's name to Guardian Angels Catholic Church 1686 S. Cleve-Mass Rd Copley OH 44321.
