Catherine Cable

Catherine (Tobin) Cable died Wednesday June 4 2008 at her home in Bokeelia Florida. Catherine was born in Patterson New Jersey but moved to Akron Ohio at a young age. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Joseph and Annie Elizabeth Tobin. Catherine was married to her late husband Howard 'Soup' Cable. She was preceded in death by her sister Margaret Keller her brothers John and Paul Tobin and son Timothy Cable. She is survived by her brothers Ernest and Thomas Donald Tobin and her sister Patricia McDonald; her son Howard Cable Jr. daughter Tamara Cable Nash; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Catherine was on the Board of Overseers of Bellarmine College in Louisville Kentucky. She had a great interest in golf and started the Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament at Hunting Creek Country Club in Prospect Kentucky. She also loved to travel to a variety of places around the world. Private services were held at Glendale Cemetery for the immediate family.
