Carolyn Marie Kuse-Woodrum (nee Albright) 63 of Doylestown passed away at home on May 13 2010 surrounded by the love of her family and friends. Alzheimer's may have stolen Carolyn's memory but it could never take away the warm spirit and graciousness that she offered everyone who knew her throughout her life. Carolyn grew up in Brecksville Ohio and graduated with honors from the University of Akron. She taught preschoolers with special needs for the Akron Public Schools. Carolyn volunteered for several organizations to benefit children breast cancer survivors and the United Methodist Church. Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother Rachel; and brother Bob Albright. Carolyn is survived by her husband Frank Woodrum; father Rolland Albright; sister Sue Moeller (Gary); sons Mike (Jen) and Rusty (Amie) Kuse daughter Kelly (Derek) Yeager step-sons Kevin (Tara) and Corey Woodrum and step-daughter Rachel (Collin) Miller. She is also survived by niece Michelle (Mike) Dunn; nephew Billy (Sarah) Wentzel and grandchildren Riley Leyton and Miles Kuse; Matthew and Andrew Yeager; Ava Woodrum; and Addyson and Audrey Miller. The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice of VNS for all the help and care they provided to Carolyn and her family. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Jay Althouse will be held at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland Massillon Rd Copley on Tuesday May 18th at 10:30 am. A luncheon will follow at the same location immediately following the funeral service.
