Carolyn Hamilton

Carolyn 'Kay' C. Hamilton 77 of Akron passed away January 15 2010 at her residence. Born in Akron raised in Cuyahoga Falls a Graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and Kent State University she had been an area resident all her life where her occupations included: C.C.A. Director for WSLR Radio P. R. Director of the Summit Co American Red Cross Real Estate Agent among others. She was a member of Women's City Club Zonta Club Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and an avid Contract Bridge player. Preceded in death by her; husband Donald F. (Ress) son Mark T.; siblings Miriam 'Mimi' Hynek; Myron 'Mike' Curtis; E. Howard 'Tiger' Curtis. Survivors include: former husband Robert S. Hamilton of Barberton; sons Jeffrey C. of Akron; Timothy A. of Massachusetts; grandchildren nieces and nephews. A brief Memorial service for family and friends will be held on Wednesday January 27 at 12:00 Noon at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron Ohio 44304.
