VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Caroline C. Taylor 94 years was born on November 4 1911 in Worchester Mass. but lived most of her life in the Akron area. Mom liked to say that her durability and longevity was because of her strong Polish/Lithuanian peasant heritage. She was pretty active up to her last year when she was forced to slow down. She was lovingly cared for by all of her children and spent the last year in Marion Ohio with daughter Betty and her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in 1990 3 sisters 2 brothers and a grandson. She is survived by children Elizabeth (John) Kittinger of Marion Ohio Stephen (Kathleen) of Tallmadge Robert Raymond (Diane) of Akron and Linda (Ed) Zielinski of New London Ohio. She leaves 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Ed (Gratia) Hoffman of Denver Colo. special niece (her 3rd daughter) Pat (Paul) Stuhldreher of Akron and many other nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10:30 AM at Annunciation Catholic Church. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers just think kindly of Carol and her family and perform a random act of kindness for someone.
