VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Carol Ann Hohman 44 took her last breath in this life on July 4 which ignited her first breath in eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Carol was born in Akron Ohio on October 22 1961. She fought a courageous lifelong battle with diabetes. She graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School in 1979. Carol was an avid sports fan and a published poet. GOD'S FIRST PROMISE (THE RAINBOW) Stretching across the light blue sky. A beautiful sight to every eye. Glowing with colors that number seven. Some will say it's a stairway to heaven. But in the Bible it can be read. Among the clouds it would be spread. To serve as a sign unto all the earth. God never again would destroy his worth. She is survived by her parents William and Genevieve Hohman; siblings Bill (Carol) Deb (Bill) Strobel Dave Sue (Chuck) Jones Tom (Kim) Steve (Lorie) Jeff and Lisa; many nieces and nephews; and close friend John Hill. The family would like to thank the caring staff of the Hospice Care Center in Fairlawn and the Summit Villa Care Center in Tallmadge. Calling hours will be held from 4 - 8 pm on Friday July 7 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. AKRON. The family is planning a privite funeral service.
