Carol Beland

Carol Sue Beland (nee Harmon) 78 of Fairlawn died peacefully in hospice on Wednesday night Sept 21st 2011. Carol was born on November 20 1932 in Cleveland the daughter of Clarence and Constance Harmon. A graduate of Denison University and the University of Pennsylvania in physical therapy she practiced her healing skills for over forty years in Cleveland and Akron. She was preceded in death by both parents older sisters Nancy and Mary brothers Jack and Bob and son Marc. Survivors include youngest brother Terry Harmon of Chagrin Falls son Robert of Rootstown Ohio and daughter Claire of Golden Colorado. A memorial gathering of friends will take place between 1:00 and 3:30 PM on Sunday October 2 2011 at Hummel Funeral Home located at 3475 Copley Road Copley Ohio 44321.
