Carl Sigel

Carl Jerry Sigel, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2015. He was a 1942 graduate of Buchtel High School, the University of Miami in Florida and served our country as a Second Lieutenant in the US Army Air Corps at the close of World War II. Carl had a long career in business and was an educator in that field. He volunteered with SCORE for many years and enjoyed sports, reading, traveling and discussing life's imponderables. Preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and William; he is survived by his wife of 57 years, JoAnn (Kaser); sons, Jeff (Nanette) and Scott; and sisters, Mary Broadbent and Charlene (Tom) Witner. The family would like to thank Drs. Michael Rich and Donald Stone and their staffs and Hospice of Summa for all of their loving care. Per Carl's wishes there will not be any services.
