Carl Munka

Carl F. Munka 91 of Copley passed away peacefully on May 15 2009. He was born in New York on October 9 1917 and served in WWII. He thoroughly enjoyed his summer vacations fishing in Canada as well as his Cleveland Indians and tending his fields. He found great joy in his grandchildren incessently stuffing them full with gum drops. We will remember him for his generousity and kindness towards strangers and anyone in need. Truly a Christian life was led! In addition to his wife Agnes he is survived by children Bob (Sally) Munka Linda Munka Carol (Mike) More Elaine (Tom) Fisher Joyce Munka and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held May 19 2009 at 11am at St. Sebastian Church 476 Mull Avenue Akron.
