Cameron Fraser

Cameron R. Fraser passed away peacefully into the arms of God on January 5, 2025 at the age of 78. He enjoyed life to the fullest, whether at work or play. He enjoyed traveling from the North Pole to the South Pole and many countries in between. He believed in giving back to his community whether volunteering in disaster areas with the American Red Cross or helping build houses with Habitat for Humanity. He was also a second responder for the Copley Community Team (CERT).

He liked to say he traveled to well over 100 countries and eventually lived in some of them while employed by Goodyear. He leaves behind his wife; Regina, brothers; Clayton and Garth, as well as children; Brock (Jennifer) Fraser, Jennifer (Aaron) Friesenborg, and Steven (Jessica) Lewandowski, grandchildren; Heather (Ross), Sam, Ana, Shawn, and Tyler and our newest great-grandchild Miriam.

Cameron often responded with "reasonable" when someone would ask how he was doing. It was an atypical answer to the question but one that reflected his worldview. Driven by logic and precision, he could be exacting but also knew when to let things go. He had a unique personality that will be missed, being quick-tempered but also loving to make the people around him laugh. He was eager to offer help and those who received this help will certainly remember his accident-prone methods while also appreciating the excellent outcomes.

His wife wants to express her gratitude to members of their church family who visited with Cameron, and friends, too numerous to name, who have provided support over the years. She wants to thank Momentous Health for taking care of Cameron during his time there as well as the support received from Suncrest Hospice.

Calling hours will be held Friday January 17, 2025 12:00-1:00pm at the Hummel Funeral Home located at 3475 Copley Rd. Copley, OH 44321. A Memorial Service will follow immediately after at the same location at 1:00pm.
