Billie Magilavy passed away peacefully on September 16, 2016. Billie was born in Kenova, WV August 10, 1920 to William and Margaret Vandyke She was the heart of our family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt to all of us. She cherished her family, and we have lost our greatest cheerleader. Billie was admired by all, for her amazing zest for life. She had a sense of style and pizazz, unequaled. She was an independent woman. She took pride in being somewhat feisty at times, which the dictionary defines as lively, determined, and courageous. Describes her perfectly. Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Manny; her daughter Debbie Seyer,; and sister, Virginia Poorman. She is survived by daughter, Lynda Slikkerveer (John); sons, Chuck Magilavy (Sue;); Marc Magilavy (Karen); son-in-law Rick Seyer; grandchildren, Robyn, Amy, Jason, Joshua, Zachary, Brett, Kyle, Chad, Shannon, Erik, Ryan, and Clay; great grandchildren, Luke, Molly, Scottie, Taylor, Andrew, Ben, Charlie, Penny, and Evie. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
